Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In July 2020 Sothebys in Paris held the auction Magnificent Nudes: Iconic Photographs from Distinguished Private Collections, which included the work Zebra #17, 1988 by Francis Giacobetti. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 25,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 27,500.00. Other works by Francis Giacobetti have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of EUR 42,900.00 in October 2017 for the work Zebra 17, Paris Studio - 1998.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juli 2020 führte Sothebys in Paris die Auktion Magnificent Nudes: Iconic Photographs from Distinguished Private Collections durch, in der auch die Arbeit Zebra #17, 1988 von Francis Giacobetti zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 25.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 27.500,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Francis Giacobetti haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von EUR 42.900,00 im Oktober 2017 für die Arbeit Zebra 17, Paris Studio - 1998 beobachtet.
