Auction result well in line with expectations

In October 2017 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Francis Giacobetti Photographs, which included the work Uschi Obermaier, Bahamas - 1970 by Francis Giacobetti. The price achieved of EUR 5,200.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Francis Giacobetti have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Zebra 17, Paris Studio - 1998 in October 2017 with an auction result of EUR 42,900.00.

Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen

Im Oktober 2017 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Francis Giacobetti Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Uschi Obermaier, Bahamas - 1970 von Francis Giacobetti zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 5.200,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Francis Giacobetti auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Zebra 17, Paris Studio - 1998 im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 42.900,00.
