The price achieved of GBP 11,750.00 (€ 18,959.80) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, A vase of roses; and A basket of flowers is the most expensive artwork by François Rivoire that we have observed at auctions so far.
