It achieved a price of AUD 1,880.00 (€ 1,053.50), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 57%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Frank Hodgkinson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Kakadu, Last of the Wet, which sold at auction in August 2003 for AUD 7,050.00 (€ 4,164.80).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von AUD 1.880,00 (€ 1.053,50) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 57%. Für andere Arbeiten von Frank Hodgkinson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Kakadu, Last of the Wet beobachtet, die im August 2003 für AUD 7.050,00 (€ 4.164,80) versteigert wurde.
