Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Frank Sinatra was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in December 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 6,000.00 – 9,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 6,250.00 (€ 5,455.66) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frank Sinatra achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in December 2018 with an auction result of USD 100,000.00 (€ 87,290.50).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Frank Sinatra kam im Dezember 2018 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 6.000,00 – 9.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 6.250,00 (€ 5.455,66) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Frank Sinatra erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Dezember 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 100.000,00 (€ 87.290,50).
