Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Czech abstract Composition by František Foltýn was sold in the 20th Century Art – A Different Perspective auction at Sothebys in London in November 2017. The price achieved of GBP 3,000.00 (€ 3,405.45) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by František Foltýn achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Czech imperialism (Imperialismus) in June 2011 with an auction result of GBP 433,250.00 (€ 479,310.59).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Czech abstract Composition von František Foltýn wurde im November 2017 in der Auktion 20th Century Art – A Different Perspective bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.000,00 (€ 3.405,45) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von František Foltýn erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Czech imperialism (Imperialismus) im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 433.250,00 (€ 479.310,59).
