In the Edition Gerd Hatje: Contemporary Photographs, Prints & Multiples auction, the work Teichrosenblatt sold for GBP 3,250.00 (€ 3,643.96) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Franz Gertsch achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Luciano Ii in March 2017 with an auction result of GBP 2,746,250.00 (€ 3,218,333.92).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Franz Gertsch erzielte im Juli 2018 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Edition Gerd Hatje: Contemporary Photographs, Prints & Multiples wurde die Arbeit Teichrosenblatt für GBP 3.250,00 (€ 3.643,96) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Franz Gertsch erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Luciano Ii im März 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.746.250,00 (€ 3.218.333,92).
