In the Fun 'n FrolicsPaintings From the Estate of Fred Yates auction, the work A Family Gathering sold for GBP 1,408.00 (€ 1,616.78) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 800.00. Admittedly, works by Fred Yates have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Pair of Still Lifes in October this year with an auction result of GBP 14,080.00 (€ 16,167.75).
