Auction result misses estimated price range

This work of art by Fred Yates could be acquired at Bonhams in Paris in October this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Fun 'n FrolicsPaintings From the Estate of Fred Yates auction, the work Eden changed hands for GBP 704.00 (€ 808.39) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fred Yates achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Pair of Still Lifes in October this year with an auction result of GBP 14,080.00 (€ 16,167.75).

Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne

Dieses Kunstwerk von Fred Yates konnte im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Paris für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Fun 'n FrolicsPaintings From the Estate of Fred Yates wechselte die Arbeit Eden für GBP 704,00 (€ 808,39) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fred Yates erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Pair of Still Lifes im Oktober diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 14.080,00 (€ 16.167,75).
