It achieved a price of GBP 704.00 (€ 808.39), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 41%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fred Yates achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Pair of Still Lifes in October this year with an auction result of GBP 14,080.00 (€ 16,167.75).

Die Arbeit Tuscany von Fred Yates wurde im Oktober diesen Jahres in der Auktion Fun 'n FrolicsPaintings From the Estate of Fred Yates bei Bonhams in Paris versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 704,00 (€ 808,39) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 41%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fred Yates erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Pair of Still Lifes im Oktober diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 14.080,00 (€ 16.167,75).
