Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Jean François Frédéric Flacheron achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in November 2006. In the Photographie 1 auction, the work Vue Du Forum, Rome, 1851 sold for EUR 10,482.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 4,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Jean François Frédéric Flacheron; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Le Tibre À Rome, 1853 sold at auction in May 2007 with the realized price of EUR 19,200.00.

In der Auktion Photographie 1 wurde die Arbeit Vue Du Forum, Rome, 1851 für EUR 10.482,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 4.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Jean François Frédéric Flacheron; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Le Tibre À Rome, 1853 im Mai 2007 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 19.200,00.
