This work of art by Frederick McDuff could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in September 2020 for an unexpectedly low price. In the The Collection of Mr. and Mrs. Bertram R. Firestone auction, the work Late Summer Giverny changed hands for USD 1,260.00 (€ 1,075.27) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Frederick McDuff have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Figures with cabanas at the beach in July 2016 with an auction result of USD 10,000.00 (€ 8,954.15).
