Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Der Mensch Als Industriepalast by Fritz Kahn was auctioned at Christies in London in November 2011. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,459.25) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Fritz Kahn - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Der Mensch Als Industriepalast (Man As Industrial Palace), which sold at auction in September 2013 for GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,482.55).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Der Mensch Als Industriepalast von Fritz Kahn kam im November 2011 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 1.200,00 – 1.800,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.459,25) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Fritz Kahn mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Der Mensch Als Industriepalast (Man As Industrial Palace) beobachtet, die im September 2013 für GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.482,55) versteigert wurde.
