Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fritz Scholder achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Dartmouth Portrait #8," 1973 in August last year with an auction result of USD 378,375.00 (€ 375,931.45).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 1.664,00 (€ 1.535,20) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 39%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fritz Scholder erzielen.
