Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Affandigital by FX Harsono was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2011. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 150,000.00 – 250,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 162,500.00 (€ 15,006.81) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by FX Harsono have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Watching the wound in May 2008 with an auction result of HKD 847,500.00 (€ 69,771.69).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Affandigital von FX Harsono kam im Oktober 2011 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 150.000,00 – 250.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 162.500,00 (€ 15.006,81) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von FX Harsono auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Watching the wound im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 847.500,00 (€ 69.771,69).
