This artwork by Gaganendranath Tagore achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Mumbai in December 2015. In the The India Sale auction, the work Untitled (Sunrise From Tiger Hill) sold for INR 4,375,000.00 (€ 60,836.63) - well above the upper estimate of INR 1,500,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Gaganendranath Tagore; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Bed Of Arrows (Bhishma) sold at auction in October 2015 with the realized price of GBP 81,250.00 (€ 113,648.46).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Gaganendranath Tagore erzielte im Dezember 2015 bei Christies in Mumbai einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The India Sale wurde die Arbeit Untitled (Sunrise From Tiger Hill) für INR 4.375.000,00 (€ 60.836,63) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von INR 1.500.000,00.
