Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Gaganendranath Tagore was sold in the South Asian Modern+Contemporary Art auction at Christies in New York in September 2009. Here, the upper estimate of USD 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 8,125.00 (€ 5,553.66). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gaganendranath Tagore achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bed Of Arrows (Bhishma) in October 2015 with an auction result of GBP 81,250.00 (€ 113,648.46).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Gaganendranath Tagore wurde im September 2009 in der Auktion South Asian Modern+Contemporary Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 8.125,00 (€ 5.553,66) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gaganendranath Tagore erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bed Of Arrows (Bhishma) im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 81.250,00 (€ 113.648,46).
