Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work 9 Colori by Gastone Novelli for USD 78,750.00 (€ 71,629.98). This price was achieved in the auction The Great Wonderful: 100 Years of Italian Art at Phillips in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 80,000.00 – 100,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gastone Novelli - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Caro Vietnam (Dear Vietnam), which sold at auction in June 2011 for GBP 187,250.00 (€ 207,157.32).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
