Auction result well in line with expectations

In February 2019 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Rétromobile 2019 Racing, Flying & Yachting, which included the work Grand Prix Automobile Organisée Par Le Motocycle Club De France by Geo Ham. It changed hands for a price of EUR 234.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 150.00 – 250.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Geo Ham achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Monaco, 1936 in November 2015 with an auction result of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 28,487.03).

Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen

Im Februar 2019 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Rétromobile 2019 Racing, Flying & Yachting durch, in der auch die Arbeit Grand Prix Automobile Organisée Par Le Motocycle Club De France von Geo Ham zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 234,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 150,00 – 250,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Geo Ham erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Monaco, 1936 im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 28.487,03).
