Auction result well in line with expectations

The work Hélice Ratier by Geo Ham was sold in the Racing, Flying & Yachting auction at Artcurial in Paris in June 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 500.00 – 800.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 520.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Geo Ham achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Monaco, 1936 in November 2015 with an auction result of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 28,487.03).

Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen

Die Arbeit Hélice Ratier von Geo Ham wurde im Juni 2018 in der Auktion Racing, Flying & Yachting bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 500,00 – 800,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 520,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Geo Ham erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Monaco, 1936 im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 28.487,03).
