Auction result well in line with expectations
In February 2019 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Rétromobile 2019 Racing, Flying & Yachting, which included the work Motoconfort by Geo Ham. It changed hands for a price of EUR 2,860.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Geo Ham have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Monaco, 1936 in November 2015 with an auction result of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 28,487.03).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar 2019 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Rétromobile 2019 Racing, Flying & Yachting durch, in der auch die Arbeit Motoconfort von Geo Ham zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 2.860,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Geo Ham auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Monaco, 1936 im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 28.487,03).
