Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Transparent Female Forms by George Condo was auctioned at Phillips in Hong Kong in June last year. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 35,000,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 36,550,000.00 (€ 4,447,865.13). Other works by George Condo have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 6,162,500.00 (€ 5,280,634.10) in May 2018 for the work Nude and Forms.

Die Arbeit Transparent Female Forms von George Condo kam im Juni letzten Jahres bei Phillips in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 35.000.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 36.550.000,00 (€ 4.447.865,13) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von George Condo haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 6.162.500,00 (€ 5.280.634,10) im Mai 2018 für die Arbeit Nude and Forms beobachtet.
