It changed hands for a price of USD 4,541.00 (€ 4,635.57) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Sunset off a Rocky Shore; and A Moonlit Shore is the most expensive artwork by George Francis Teniswood that we have observed at auctions so far.
