Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 2,937.50 (€ 4,739.95) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Admittedly, works by George Lance have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Burgomaster'S Dessert in November 2004 with an auction result of GBP 20,912.50 (€ 30,082.52).
