Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2013 a collector was able to acquire the work Green Island by Gevork Bashinjaghian for GBP 25,000.00 (€ 30,084.15). This price was achieved in the auction Russian Art Day Sale at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gevork Bashinjaghian - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Mount Ararat, which sold at auction in November 2007 for GBP 66,500.00 (€ 93,117.20).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2013 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Green Island von Gevork Bashinjaghian für GBP 25.000,00 (€ 30.084,15) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Russian Art Day Sale bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Gevork Bashinjaghian mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Mount Ararat beobachtet, die im November 2007 für GBP 66.500,00 (€ 93.117,20) versteigert wurde.
