Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Gerald Balciar could be acquired at Bonhams in Los Angeles in February 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the The L.D. "Brink" Brinkman Collection Online auction, the work Redbud Ramble changed hands for USD 1,062.50 (€ 933.74) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gerald Balciar - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Mother's Pride, which sold at auction in February 2019 for USD 2,375.00 (€ 2,087.18).
