This artwork by Giacomo Ceruti achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in January 2018. In the The Otto Naumann Sale auction, the work Portrait Of A Young Countrywoman, Half Length sold for USD 615,000.00 (€ 494,850.34) - well above the upper estimate of USD 300,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Giacomo Ceruti - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Il Bravo; E Vecchia Contadina, which sold at auction in November 2006 for EUR 1,264,350.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Giacomo Ceruti erzielte im Januar 2018 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Otto Naumann Sale wurde die Arbeit Portrait Of A Young Countrywoman, Half Length für USD 615.000,00 (€ 494.850,34) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 300.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Giacomo Ceruti mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Il Bravo; E Vecchia Contadina beobachtet, die im November 2006 für EUR 1.264.350,00 versteigert wurde.
