In the Contemporary Art 1953-2003, A Private Collection auction, the work Record Vehicle Propotype Nr (C.F.) - 1 sold for EUR 17,050.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 9,000.00. Admittedly, works by Gianni Piacentino have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Bivest + 1 in April 2013 with an auction result of EUR 86,032.70.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Gianni Piacentino erzielte im April 2008 bei Sothebys in Mailand einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art 1953-2003, A Private Collection wurde die Arbeit Record Vehicle Propotype Nr (C.F.) - 1 für EUR 17.050,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 9.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gianni Piacentino auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Bivest + 1 im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 86.032,70.
