Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Self Portrait at 17 Years Old by Gillian Wearing was sold in the Masterpieces of Design & Photography auction at Christies in London in October 2017. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 32,500.00 (€ 37,056.36). Other works by Gillian Wearing have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 63,000.00 (€ 58,708.41) in May last year for the work Self-Portrait at 17 Years Old (from Album).
