This work of art by Giovanni Battista Recco could be acquired at VAN HAM in Cologne in November 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Fine Art auction, the work Stillleben mit Rotbarsch, Sardinen, Seeigel und Meeresfrüchtekorb. changed hands for EUR 7,920.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giovanni Battista Recco achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Apples In A Wicker Basket, With A Cabbage, Parsnip, Lettuce And An Apple On A Stone Ledge in July 2006 with an auction result of GBP 433,600.00 (€ 634,739.58).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Giovanni Battista Recco konnte im November 2021 bei VAN HAM in Köln für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Fine Art wechselte die Arbeit Stillleben mit Rotbarsch, Sardinen, Seeigel und Meeresfrüchtekorb. für EUR 7.920,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giovanni Battista Recco erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Apples In A Wicker Basket, With A Cabbage, Parsnip, Lettuce And An Apple On A Stone Ledge im Juli 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 433.600,00 (€ 634.739,58).
