The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 201,600.00 (€ 166,131.03) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Madonna and Child with musician angels is the most expensive artwork by Giovanni di Francesco Toscani that we have observed at auctions so far.
