Auction result well in line with expectations
In January this year Christies in New York held the auction Old Master & British Drawings, which included the work The chess players by Giulio Benso. The price achieved of USD 18,900.00 (€ 17,406.52) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Other works by Giulio Benso have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2012 the work La guérison de l'aveugle de Jericho was auctioned for EUR 20,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar diesen Jahres führte Christies in New York die Auktion Old Master & British Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit The chess players von Giulio Benso zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 18.900,00 (€ 17.406,52) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 15.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Giulio Benso konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März 2012 die Arbeit La guérison de l'aveugle de Jericho für EUR 20.000,00 versteigert.
