Auction result well in line with expectations

The work Ascensione aerea (recto); Studio di ala (verso) by Giulio D'Anna was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in July last year. The price achieved of GBP 5,100.00 (€ 6,090.31) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giulio D'Anna achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Paesaggio siciliano e Aerei in March 2017 with an auction result of GBP 100,000.00 (€ 117,190.13).

Die Arbeit Ascensione aerea (recto); Studio di ala (verso) von Giulio D'Anna kam im Juli letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.100,00 (€ 6.090,31) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giulio D'Anna erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Paesaggio siciliano e Aerei im März 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 100.000,00 (€ 117.190,13).
