Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Virata sulla Valletta-Malta by Giulio D'Anna was sold in the AeropitturaItalian Futurism in Flight auction at Bonhams in New York in July last year. The price achieved of GBP 38,100.00 (€ 45,498.17) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Giulio D'Anna - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Paesaggio siciliano e Aerei, which sold at auction in March 2017 for GBP 100,000.00 (€ 117,190.13).

Die Arbeit Virata sulla Valletta-Malta von Giulio D'Anna wurde im Juli letzten Jahres in der Auktion AeropitturaItalian Futurism in Flight bei Bonhams in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 38.100,00 (€ 45.498,17) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Giulio D'Anna mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Paesaggio siciliano e Aerei beobachtet, die im März 2017 für GBP 100.000,00 (€ 117.190,13) versteigert wurde.
