In July last year Bonhams in New York held the auction AeropitturaItalian Futurism in Flight, which included the work Velocitá di treno + paesaggio simultaneo by Giulio D'Anna. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 25,500.00 (€ 30,451.53), 70% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Giulio D'Anna - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Paesaggio siciliano e Aerei, which sold at auction in March 2017 for GBP 100,000.00 (€ 117,190.13).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 70 % übertroffen
Im Juli letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in New York die Auktion AeropitturaItalian Futurism in Flight durch, in der auch die Arbeit Velocitá di treno + paesaggio simultaneo von Giulio D'Anna zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 25.500,00 (€ 30.451,53) und damit 70% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Giulio D'Anna mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Paesaggio siciliano e Aerei beobachtet, die im März 2017 für GBP 100.000,00 (€ 117.190,13) versteigert wurde.
