Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 361,250.00 (€ 407,502.70) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 300,000.00 – 400,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Govaert Flinck achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work An old man at a casement in April 2017 with an auction result of USD 10,327,500.00 (€ 9,479,118.86).
