Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work A mushroom study; Six floral studies; and Seven landscapes by Grand Duchess Olga was auctioned at Christies in London in November 2019. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 5,625.00 (€ 6,605.13). Admittedly, works by Grand Duchess Olga have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Self-portrait with easel; Four landscapes; and Floral study in June 2017 with an auction result of GBP 56,250.00 (€ 64,058.26).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit A mushroom study; Six floral studies; and Seven landscapes von Grand Duchess Olga kam im November 2019 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 5.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 5.625,00 (€ 6.605,13) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Grand Duchess Olga auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Self-portrait with easel; Four landscapes; and Floral study im Juni 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 56.250,00 (€ 64.058,26).
