Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Saint Andrew with the cross of the martyrdom by Gregorio de Ferrari for EUR 22,000.00. This price was achieved in the auction Furniture and Old Master Paintings, Silver, Clocks, Musical Instruments, Historia, Carpets and Textiles, Old Master Drawings and Prints at Il Ponte and was even below the estimate range of EUR 26,000.00 – 28,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Gregorio de Ferrari have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Rest on the Flight to Egypt in July 2008 with an auction result of GBP 121,250.00 (€ 154,049.49).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Saint Andrew with the cross of the martyrdom von Gregorio de Ferrari für EUR 22.000,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Furniture and Old Master Paintings, Silver, Clocks, Musical Instruments, Historia, Carpets and Textiles, Old Master Drawings and Prints bei Il Ponte erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 26.000,00 – 28.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gregorio de Ferrari auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Rest on the Flight to Egypt im Juli 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 121.250,00 (€ 154.049,49).
