Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Virtù Guerriera La Carità by Gregorio de Ferrari was sold in the Important Old Master Paintings auction at Sothebys in Milan in June 2010. It changed hands for a price of EUR 28,350.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Gregorio de Ferrari have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Rest on the Flight to Egypt in July 2008 with an auction result of GBP 121,250.00 (€ 154,049.49).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Virtù Guerriera La Carità von Gregorio de Ferrari wurde im Juni 2010 in der Auktion Important Old Master Paintings bei Sothebys in Mailand versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 28.350,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gregorio de Ferrari auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Rest on the Flight to Egypt im Juli 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 121.250,00 (€ 154.049,49).
