Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Gu Linshi could be acquired at Bonhams in May this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Asian Art auction, the work Landscape changed hands for AUD 2,706.00 (€ 1,644.07) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of AUD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gu Linshi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 1,360,000.00 (€ 129,056.94).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Gu Linshi konnte im Mai diesen Jahres bei Bonhams für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Asian Art wechselte die Arbeit Landscape für AUD 2.706,00 (€ 1.644,07) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von AUD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gu Linshi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.360.000,00 (€ 129.056,94).
