The work Legend Of The White Snake by Guan Liang was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2019. It achieved a price of HKD 5,215,000.00 (€ 596,066.79), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 30%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Guan Liang - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Hardoon Garden (Xihu), which sold at auction in April this year for HKD 1,200,000.00 (€ 1,225,434.78).

Die Arbeit Legend Of The White Snake von Guan Liang kam im Oktober 2019 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 5.215.000,00 (€ 596.066,79) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 30%. Für andere Arbeiten von Guan Liang mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Hardoon Garden (Xihu) beobachtet, die im April diesen Jahres für HKD 1.200.000,00 (€ 1.225.434,78) versteigert wurde.
