A top price for Gustave Serrurier-Bovy - as previously expected
The work Desk With Shelves Bureau Étagère by Gustave Serrurier-Bovy was sold in the Important Design auction at Sothebys in Paris in June 2020. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 8,125.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Desk With Shelves Bureau Étagère is the most expensive artwork by Gustave Serrurier-Bovy that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Desk With Shelves Bureau Étagère von Gustave Serrurier-Bovy wurde im Juni 2020 in der Auktion Important Design bei Sothebys in Paris versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 8.125,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
