The price achieved of USD 2,390.00 (€ 1,919.37) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by H. Murray - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Meet at the Fox Inn; Breaking Cover; On the Scent; Full Cry, which sold at auction in March 2002 for USD 5,287.50 (€ 6,065.73).
