Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Hong Kong by Han Hsiang Ning was sold in the IMPORTANT 20TH CEN CHIN PAINTINGS FROM THE YAGEO FOUNDATION auction at Christies in Hong Kong in October 2004. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 65,000.00 – 85,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 65,725.00 (€ 6,620.97) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Han Hsiang Ning - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work New York City Skyline, which sold at auction in October 2016 for HKD 200,000.00 (€ 23,535.85).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Hong Kong von Han Hsiang Ning wurde im Oktober 2004 in der Auktion IMPORTANT 20TH CEN CHIN PAINTINGS FROM THE YAGEO FOUNDATION bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 65.000,00 – 85.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 65.725,00 (€ 6.620,97) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Han Hsiang Ning mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit New York City Skyline beobachtet, die im Oktober 2016 für HKD 200.000,00 (€ 23.535,85) versteigert wurde.
