Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Untitled (C80-038), 1980 by Hannelore Baron for USD 1,402.50 (€ 1,239.18). This price was achieved in the auction The Collection of Amalia de Schulthess Online at Bonhams in Los Angeles and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Hannelore Baron have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (B82032), 1982 in February 2021 with an auction result of USD 14,025.00 (€ 11,597.62).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Untitled (C80-038), 1980 von Hannelore Baron für USD 1.402,50 (€ 1.239,18) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The Collection of Amalia de Schulthess Online bei Bonhams in Los Angeles erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hannelore Baron auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (B82032), 1982 im Februar 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 14.025,00 (€ 11.597,62).
