Auction result well in line with expectations
The work La poupée, 1935 by Hans Bellmer was sold in the Avant-Garde: Photographs from the Shalom Shpilman Collection auction at Christies in London in September 2017. The price achieved of GBP 11,875.00 (€ 13,472.34) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hans Bellmer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Self-Portrait With Die Puppe in October 2012 with an auction result of USD 374,500.00 (€ 289,010.65).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit La poupée, 1935 von Hans Bellmer wurde im September 2017 in der Auktion Avant-Garde: Photographs from the Shalom Shpilman Collection bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 11.875,00 (€ 13.472,34) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hans Bellmer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Self-Portrait With Die Puppe im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 374.500,00 (€ 289.010,65).
