Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Hans Bollongier could be acquired at Christies in Amsterdam in December 2012 for an unexpectedly low price. In the European Noble and Private Collections auction, the work The Finding of the Infant Moses by Pharaoh's Daughter changed hands for EUR 3,750.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hans Bollongier achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tulips, a rose, bluebells and other flowers in a glass vase on a wooden ledge, with a snail and a caterpillar in December 2005 with an auction result of GBP 90,000.00 (€ 130,629.96).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Hans Bollongier konnte im Dezember 2012 bei Christies in Amsterdam für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion European Noble and Private Collections wechselte die Arbeit The Finding of the Infant Moses by Pharaoh's Daughter für EUR 3.750,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hans Bollongier erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tulips, a rose, bluebells and other flowers in a glass vase on a wooden ledge, with a snail and a caterpillar im Dezember 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 90.000,00 (€ 130.629,96).
