Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work "Heimfahr am abend, Westnorwegen" (On the way back from work, Western Norway) by Hans Dahl was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in June 2014, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 35,000.00 – 40,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 32,000.00 (€ 3,494.52). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hans Dahl achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The model and the artist in June last year with an auction result of SEK 560,000.00 (€ 51,726.05).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit "Heimfahr am abend, Westnorwegen" (On the way back from work, Western Norway) von Hans Dahl im Juni 2014 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 35.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 32.000,00 (€ 3.494,52) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hans Dahl erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The model and the artist im Juni letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 560.000,00 (€ 51.726,05).
