In the Sommer 2021 - Sander Collection auction, the work Maske. sold for EUR 1,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 400.00. Admittedly, works by Hans Schmitz have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Abwehr. in June 2017 with an auction result of EUR 8,750.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Hans Schmitz erzielte im Juni 2021 bei Grisebach einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Sommer 2021 - Sander Collection wurde die Arbeit Maske. für EUR 1.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 400,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hans Schmitz auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Abwehr. im Juni 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 8.750,00.
