The work Noddy On The Gangplank Of Mr Noah'S Ark by Harmsen van der Beek was sold in the Christie's Interiors auction at Christies in London in June 2011. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 625.00 (€ 691.45) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Harmsen van der Beek - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Mr Plod walking away from Noddy and Big-Ears, which sold at auction in December 2005 for GBP 1,560.00 (€ 2,264.25).
